According to the eQonaq information system, citizens of the United States, Germany, South Korea and India who arrived for tourism purposes spend an average of four days in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports reports.

Citizens of Uzbekistan are leading in terms of the length of stay in the country. Tourists from a neighboring state spend up to 10 days in Kazakhstan on average.

Tourists from Russia spend on average six days in the country, citizens of Belarus - five days, Germany - four days, citizens of China - three and a half days.

“The eQonaq system performs several important functions: control and analysis of the flow of tourists arriving in our country, creation of a register of accommodation places, etc. Main goal - increasing the transparency and quality of services provided to tourists. 3,214 business entities providing accommodation services are registered in the system,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Moldir Abdualieva.
