Kazakh airlines own 99 aircraft

In 2025, the fleet of domestic airlines will be replenished with 25 aircraft.

Air Astana and SCAT airlines are planning to deliver new aircraft from Airbus and Boeing factories.

As reported in the response from the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, by the end of 2025, Air Astana will purchase 15 Airbus A320/321 aircraft and 2 Boeing 787 aircraft. SCAT plans to deliver 8 Boeing 737 aircraft.

As you know, 12 new aircraft were added last year. Air Astana purchased 8, while SCAT limited itself to 4 aircraft. At the same time, Air Astana deregistered 1 aircraft, and SCAT 4.

- Currently, Kazakh airlines own 99 aircraft. In particular, SCAT has 37, Air Astana has 50, Qazaq Air has 5, Southern Sky has 5 and Zhetisu has 2 aircraft. Basically, the predominant aircraft are Airbus A320-321 (42) and Boeing 737 (33), the KGA press service reported.

It should be noted that, in accordance with the maintenance program, 1 aircraft (Airbus A320 and Boeing 737) can serve 120,000 - 150,000 flight hours under normal conditions.
