The Ministry of Tourism proposes to allow farmers to build guest houses on agricultural lands

To develop tourism in Kazakhstan, they want to allow peasants and farms to build guest houses on agricultural lands. This proposal was voiced during a government meeting by Minister of Tourism and Sports Ermek Marzhikpayev.

“The Ministry is working on the issue of providing peasants and farms with the opportunity to build guest houses on agricultural lands,” Marzhikpayev said.

According to him, this will help increase employment in rural areas and, in particular, may affect 2,200 farms.
