Kazakhstan and Saint Kitts and Nevis signed an agreement on a visa-free regime

Kazakhstan and Saint Kitts and Nevis inked a visa waiver agreement granting visa-free access between the two nations, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

The Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Saint Kitts and Nevis on mutual exemption from visa requirements was signed by Mr. Akan Rakhmetullin, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Nations and Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis Dr. Mutryce Williams.

This agreement means the abolition of entry visas for all types of passports for a period of up to 90 calendar days. It will take effect in 90 days after the diplomatic corps of Kazakhstan and Saint Kitts and Nevis inform each other of the completion of necessary procedures.

The Kazakh side welcomed the signing of the agreement which promotes friendly relations between the countries, helps attack foreign travelers as well as foreign direct investments to Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan and Saint Kitts and Nevis established diplomatic relations on May 8, 2013.

Saint Kitts and Nevis became the 40th country in the world to waive visa requirements for Kazakh nationals.
