Where Kazakhstanis prefer to relax: top 5 countries named
The most popular destinations among Kazakhstani tourists for the five months of 2023 have become known, Tengri Travel tells in more detail with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
According to tour operators, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thailand, Egypt, and Turkey remain the most popular foreign countries for Kazakhstani tourists to visit on tour packages. Also, along with these countries, a new direction is gaining popularity - Vietnam.
According to "Turistik Kamkor", for the last 5 months of 2023:
- UAE visited 71,285;
- Thailand - 68,298;
- Egypt - 67,407;
- Turkey - 33,032;
- Vietnam - 25,697;
- India - 6015;
- Maldives - 3120;
- Qatar - 2346 Kazakhstani tourists.
"During this period, 280,748 Kazakhstani tourists went to foreign countries on vacation," the Ministry of Culture and Sports specified.
