The agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Vietnam on exemption from visa requirements for holders of national passports, signed on August 21, 2023 in Hanoi, will come into force on May 25, 2024. Official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov announced this at a briefing.
He added that the agreement provides for the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of the two countries - holders of national passports. At the same time, citizens can stay 30 calendar days from the date of entry into the country, for a total of 90 calendar days during each period of 6 months.
Let us recall that on April 23, an agreement on a visa-free regime was signed by Kazakhstan and Thailand. According to the Agreement between the governments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Thailand on exemption from visa requirements for holders of national passports, citizens of the two countries can stay in each other’s territory without a visa for up to 30 calendar days from the date of entry into the country. The document will come into force after the parties complete internal state procedures.
