A photographer found a breathtaking place in the Aktobe region

A series of photographs by Kazakh photographer Dmitry Dotsenko, who captured the beauty of Aktolagay in the Aktobe region, is being discussed on social networks, Tengritravel.kz reports.

Netizens note that they did not even know that there were breathtaking places in the region.

“Aktolagay is located in the Aktobe region, on the border with the Caspian lowland. High, up to 300 meters, chalk cliffs rise in the middle of the steppe. An interesting feature of the mountains is their color change depending on the lighting.

They are red in the morning, white in the afternoon, and blue in the evening.  The landscapes here are, of course, incredible.  It's like another planet or a fantasy movie.  I shot at different times from different angles,” the photographer noted.

There are dozens of rave reviews under the post; many social network users note that they would like to go to this place and take a walk around Aktolagay.

As Dotsenko said, the footage was taken on October 2.  To show the changing palette of the landscape, he filmed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“I really liked Aktolagai because of the impressive views. I recommend that Kazakhstanis see these chalk cliffs. By the way, I conducted a survey on my blog and found out that 80 percent of subscribers did not know about Aktolagai. Therefore, I was very happy to share these pictures and talk about such a beautiful  place in our country,” Dotsenko said in a conversation with a reporter.
