The governments of Kazakhstan and Seychelles plan to introduce a visa-free regime for their citizens in both directions. The relevant draft resolution was prepared in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports Tengritravel.kz .
According to the document, citizens will mutually be able to leave once or repeatedly, transit, temporarily stay on the territory of the two states for no more than 30 calendar days from the date of their entry during each period of 180 calendar days.
Valid travel documents for citizens of Kazakhstan will be:
- diplomatic passport;
- service passport;
- passport of a citizen of Kazakhstan;
- certificate of return.
Valid travel documents of the Republic of Seychelles will be:
- ordinary passport;
- official passport;
- diplomatic passport;
- certificate of return.
Each of the parties will be able to terminate the agreement by notifying the other party in writing through diplomatic channels.
"The signing of the draft agreement will make it possible to strengthen close cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Seychelles and establish a simplified visa-free procedure for holders of all types of passports," the justification of the project says.
The draft resolution is published on the website "Open NPAs" and is in the status of "discussion" until August 28.

It should be noted that a similar draft resolution on mutual visa-free travel of Kazakhstan and China appeared on the Open NPAs website in April. A month later, the countries signed an agreement and the visa-free regime will come into force in the near future.
