The capital of Kazakhstan will host the international tourism exhibition PATA Travel Mart on September 18-20, 2019 under the patronage of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA).

PATA Travel Mart (PTM) is an international tourism trade show for the Asia-Pacific region, which provides unprecedented opportunities for contracting with colleagues from around the world and networking, allowing travel organizations to access decision-makers, as well as find new partners, expand connections , establish new business contacts and strengthen existing ones.

The organizers from the Kazakh side will be the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC "NC" Kazakh Tourism "with the support of the Akimat of the city of Nur-Sultan.

The fact that Astana won the right to host this exhibition in competition with the largest cities in Asia confirms Nur-Sultan's status as a center for business and event tourism in the region. The exhibition will be attended by about 1200 members of the association from all over the world, mainly from Asia and Europe, which are the target markets of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition has been held annually under the patronage of PATA since 1978 in 44 cities with a total coverage of more than 40 thousand delegates. Over the past ten years, the exhibitions have been hosted by such cities as Macau (2010, 2017), Delhi (2011), Manila (2012), Chengdu (2013), Phnom Penh (2014), Bangalore (2015), Jakarta (2016), Langkawi (2018) ... Last year, the exhibition was held on September 12-14 in Malaysia on the island of Langkawi. It was attended by 389 exhibitors from 33 countries. Also, 252 tour operators from 241 organizations attended the event.
