The agreement on a visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and China comes into force on November 10

At the same time, the period of stay of citizens on the territory of the two states should not exceed 30 calendar days.

The agreement on a visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and China comes into force on November 10, reports the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"The agreement on mutual exemption from visa requirements between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the People's Republic of China, signed on May 17 in Xi'an, comes into force on November 10. According to Article 1 of this agreement, citizens of the two countries are exempt from visa requirements for the purposes of private business, tourism, treatment  , international transport, transit, as well as business purposes,” the message says.

At the same time, the period of stay of citizens on the territory of the two states should not exceed 30 calendar days from the moment of crossing the state border, and in total – 90 calendar days within 180 calendar days, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.

If citizens need to stay for more than 30 days, they must obtain an entry visa of the appropriate category in advance.

“The visa-free regime does not give the right to work, study and missionary activity,” the department emphasized.
