Passengers of FlyArystan airline were warned of the need to re-download their air tickets due to time changes in some regions of Kazakhstan.

According to the air carrier, passengers who purchased air tickets from February 8 of this year for flights to/from the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Turkestan, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey will have the current time in their air tickets, taking into account the transition to the same time zone.

And passengers who purchased tickets before February 7 (inclusive) for flights departing from 00:01 on March 1, 2024 (Astana time) should note that their flights will depart 1 hour earlier than indicated on the tickets.

“To passengers will be sent an individual notification with detailed information on how to download a new ticket with the current departure time, taking into account the transition to a single time zone,” the airline emphasized.

The airline advises its customers to monitor the current status of flights on the website or application, and also take into account the new departure time.

Let us remind you that according to government decision No. 20 of January 19, 2024, Kazakhstan will switch to a single time zone, which will be 1 hour less than now. This will affect all regions of the country, including the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Turkestan, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey. The clock change will occur on the night of February 29 to March 1, 2024 at midnight.
