Kazakhstan video about tourism won in two categories of the prestigious festival
The story tells about the journey of travel bloggers from Qatar, Belgium and Kazakhstan through Turkestan and the outskirts of Almaty.
Kazakhstan's travel video Kazakhstan - Like Never Before took first place in two main categories at the annual International Tourism Film Festival ART&TUR in Portugal. The festival in the Portuguese city of Caldas da Rainha was held for the 16th time.
Kazakhstan - Like Never Before became the winner in the categories "Best Country Video" and "Best Advertising Campaign" ("Destination - Countries", "Advertising Campaign"), the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports reports.
The video was created by the national company Kazakh Tourism and shows the journey of travel bloggers from Qatar, Belgium and Kazakhstan through Turkestan and the outskirts of Almaty.
The creative team of creators was headed by Adilet Rakhmetolla and Konstantin Kikvidze.
“This wonderful video turned out to be the embodiment of our approach to attracting the attention of foreign tourists to the amazing nature and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan. The high score at the competition once again proves, firstly, that our country is very interesting for many people in the world, and secondly, the quality and creative production of the video itself,” the press service of Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerzhan Erkinbayev quotes.
The competition included entries from all over the world and spanned areas such as advertising campaigns, promotional films, animation, independent travel videos, documentaries, web documents and television programs.
The international jury included professionals and experts in the field of audiovisual cinema, tourism, marketing and communications.
The report notes that this is not the first success of Kazakhstan on this site. In 2021, within the framework of the festival, the best country video was Travelstan, also produced by the national company Kazakh Tourism, and last year the communication project “Kazakhstan through the eyes of Thomas and Lucy Atkinson” received second place.
