How the development of roadside service will affect tourism in the Aktobe region

There are more roadside service facilities in the Aitekebi district of the Aktobe region. Now there are more than 10 campsites and cafes operating on the regional section of the Western Europe - Western China and Astana - Aktobe routes.

Two more will be built by the end of the year. The number of tourists is growing, experts say. For example, last year alone the area was visited by more than two thousand guests from near and far abroad. Therefore, there is a need to implement projects related to the development of tourism.

Altyngul Kenesbaykyzy, head of the entrepreneurship department of Aitekebi district:

- There are many historical places in the Aitekebi district. There are places where the poet Taras Shevchenko visited, the Ungurtas Cave. In addition, there are many attractions, routes to which are not laid out. If this issue is resolved in the future, there will be more tourists from abroad.
