Kazakhstan and Egypt intend to increase the number of flights between the countries.
The aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Egypt agreed to increase the total number of permitted flights between the countries from 14 to 48 per week, as well as permitted points - from two to three for each side, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
The parties also decided to increase the number of appointed carriers. Thus, the Kazakh side, in addition to the existing carriers Air Astana and SCAT, appointed FlyArystan airline to operate regular flights between the countries. Egypt has expanded the number of designated airlines to five: EgyptAi, EgyprAir Cargo, Air Cairo, Red Sea, Nile Air.
In addition, airlines of the two countries can enter into commercial agreements between themselves. Based on the agreements reached, the designated airlines plan to increase the number of flights and expand the geography of flights between countries.
