Festival "Nauryz Fest" was held in Beijing

As part of the opening of the Year of Tourism of Kazakhstan in China, the Nauryz Fest festival took place on Saturday at the famous Beijing art zone 798.

Kazakh artists and creative groups prepared a large-scale festive program for guests and residents of Beijing.

The orchestra of Kazakh folk instruments “Sugir” and the dance ensemble “Yassy” performed at the large center of modern art in the capital of the People’s Republic of China.

- I’m glad that the Year of Tourism of Kazakhstan in China started so dynamically and successfully. Within several days, Kazakh creative groups organized grandiose concerts in Beijing, thereby, guests and residents of the Chinese capital learned even more about Kazakhstan, noted Akbar Mazhit, a member of the Writers' Union of the People's Republic of China.

Director of “Nauryz Fest” Meirzhan Aliakparov noted that the event program is interesting, rich, and colorful.

- Residents and guests of Beijing were left with a lot of positive impressions. As we can see, today a sincere atmosphere of unity between artists and the local public has been created here,” he said.

Let's remember that 2024 has been declared the Year of Tourism of Kazakhstan in China.
