More than 3,000 preferential air tickets from FlyArystan

Kazakh low-cost airline FlyArystan announces the official launch of corporate social responsibility "Komek" from February 1, 2024, the main purpose of which is to support socially vulnerable segments of the population by providing benefits for commercial flights.

We remind you that the air carrier previously expressed its intention to support special categories of the population, and in July 2023, FlyArystan presented a pilot project of corporate social responsibility "Komek", which implies:

100% discount on flights within Kazakhstan for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and persons equivalent to them, as well as for one accompanying passenger.

50% discount on flights within Kazakhstan for persons with disabilities (persons with disabilities) of the 1st group and one accompanying person, where free transportation of 20 kg of luggage is available for one of the passengers.

50% discount for senior citizens, age category 80+ on flights within Kazakhstan.

As a result of the launch of the Komek pilot project, since July 2023, FlyArystan has provided more than 3,000 discounted air tickets, which in turn led to the creation of favorable conditions for the movement of certain groups of citizens both for personal reasons and to improve their health. This initiative contributes to improving the quality of life for socially vulnerable groups, reducing barriers and ensuring equal opportunities in the field of air mobility.

“Having learned about the Komek social project, I was pleasantly surprised that there are airlines that are ready to support our society. Being one of the first to take advantage of discounted flights, I was pleased that the accompanying person also received a discount, since I would have been alone it’s hard to do this,” said Ardan Galymuly, a blogger who is actively gaining popularity on social networks and is known under the nickname @ardan_galymuly.

Let us remind you that FlyArystan takes an active part in other areas of social projects. One of the significant steps towards corporate social responsibility was assistance in the transportation of humanitarian cargo as a result of a forest fire in the Abay region. In June 2023, FlyArystan provided free flights to the families of victims and firefighters who participated in the fire extinguishing. In continuation of this initiative, the air carrier intends to conduct activities to restore the region’s ecosystem. Continuing to direct efforts to charitable and social initiatives, within the framework of the Ken Zhurek Myn Bala project, based on active cooperation with the public organization Asarume, the airline provided charitable support in the form of free flights, also providing children with a unique opportunity to contribute to history company, giving its name to the 16th aircraft in the fleet, the Airbus A320.

FlyArystan additionally provides discounts for children from low-income families, seriously ill passengers going for treatment or surgery, as well as for schoolchildren and students flying to international competitions. The carrier considers such requests on an individual basis.
