Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Marat Karabayev told which international flights will be launched from Kazakhstan by the end of 2023, Tengritravel.kz reports.

According to the minister, for the development of international passenger air transportation, an open sky mode has been introduced since 2017, and new international routes are opened every year.

•      "Today, international flights are carried out to 27 countries on 103 air routes by three domestic and 26 foreign airlines, which is higher than pre-pandemic indicators," Marat Karabayev said during a government meeting.

In addition, the minister said that this year it is planned to open 18 international routes, of which 9 have already been opened.

• "By the end of the year, 9 new international routes are expected to open to Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Ankara, Karachi, Lahore, Jeddah, Muscat, Prague and Tel Aviv. Until 2025, it is planned to open flights to Mumbai, Hong Kong, Vienna, Tokyo, Singapore , New York and others," he said.
