The stele "Gratitude to Kazakh people" (from kaz. - Қазақ халқына мың алғыс)
The monument symbolizes gratitude to the Kazakh people on behalf of all ethnic groups who were once deported to Kazakhstan, and for whom it has become a real Homeland. The project was implemented at the expense of local entrepreneurs within the framework of the "Tugan Zher" program.
The 30-meter-high monument is conventionally divided into five fragments, each of them individually has its own special meaning. Thus, one of the fragments depicting a map of Kazakhstan on the globe symbolizes the strong foundation of the inviolability of the country's territory. It also displays information about the history of the state from the earliest period to the present.
The idea of progressive and sustained development into the future is represented by the main trunk of the stele, made in the form of a seven-sided pillar. Seven facets emphasize the sacred purity of thoughts and ideas of development.
In the upper part of the stele there is a composition displaying the image of a yurt - a symbol of the hearth, native history, and free people. The composition is completed by the image of an eagle with wings unfolded for flight, denoting the Independence of the country, the desire for continuity and progressive development. Behind the stele is an 85-meter colonnade consisting of 14 columns.
