The main orthodox church of the city and the region is St. Nicholas Cathedral. It was built in a very short time at the expense of benefactors and parishioners, and opened on September 22, 2008. The cathedral is named after St. Nicholas (Mogilevsky) and keeps a relic - his sacred particles. The temple was built in the Pskov-Novgorod style. The building area is 778.46 sq. m. The cathedral has two floors – the lower baptismal church and the upper one. On the ground floor there is a baptismal church intended for the sacrament of baptism. The cathedral building is beautifully lined with red brick with a yellow pattern.
