"Barkyn" sands

Barkyn Sands is one of the few places where you can take therapeutic sand baths, useful for diseases of the musculoskeletal system, neuritis and sciatica. This technique has scientific evidence behind it. It is believed that the sea used to overflow at this place. Now the water has gone down, leaving extraordinary hills of sand with an area of 35 thousand hectares.

Another miracle of this place is the magnificent pine forest, which rises like an oasis in the desert, and makes the sands of Barkyn a unique place of its kind. Underground waters are located under the sands, thanks to which this forest has grown.
