The «Kobylandy batyr» memorial complex

Koblandy batyr is a unique personality not only in Kazakh history, this is an example when a legendary character, the hero of epics and legends turns out to be a very real historical person who lived in the XV century, and played a big role in the historical fate of the whole region.
In 2007, a mausoleum was built, which has no analogues among such buildings of the XXI century. The height of the mausoleum is 17.5 meters, width – 12 m. The complex was created using elements of military themes. The mausoleum is a round building in the form of a military helmet, which was erected around the former burial. In the center of the mausoleum, three spears with silver tips are put together, they are secured with a shield symbolizing the unity of the three zhuzes ready to defend their native land. On the way to the mausoleum, menhir stones are installed, like sarbazes, guarding the peace of the commander. On the side in the form of a military bow is a building in which a small museum and a hotel for tourists are located.
Near the mausoleum of Koblandy batyr there is a stone 3 meters long, 60 centimeters wide, on which the batyr sharpened his saber. The saber has been preserved to this day, it is located at the burial site.

The memorial complex is a sacred and tourist site.
